The OSU Foundation is a nonprofit organization incorporated in 1947 dedicated to enhancing the mission of Oregon State University. The Foundation is governed by a 42-person Board of Trustees.
To help the university reach its goals, the OSU Foundation aspires to develop into one of the premier public university fundraising programs by capitalizing on past successes, an engaged alumni community, and the experience of existing and new professionals.
In October 2007, the OSU Foundation publicly launched the university’s first comprehensive fundraising campaign, following an extensive, university-wide planning process which resulted in OSU’s Strategic Plan for the 21st Century. In 2012, the goal for The Campaign for OSU was increased to $1 billion in response to an outpouring of community support. Donors to the campaign are providing resources that create opportunities for students, strengthen Oregon communities, and allows Oregon State to conduct research that changes the world. The latest campaign news is available in our Monthly Campaign Update.
