An Historic Moment:
The Public Launch of The Campaign for OSU

Oregon State University leaders publically launched The Campaign for OSU, the university's first campus-wide fundraising effort, on Oct. 26, 2007. At a celebration at the LaSells Stewart Center, President Ed Ray announced the campaign's $625 million goal and unveiled $77 million in contributions to a major initiative, the Linus Pauling Science Center. Following the celebration, several hundred of OSU's strongest supporters joined students and faculty for dinner on the Memorial Union Quad. Read more
