Recap of President's Weekend 2008

 

Thank you for joining us for President's Weekend!

Nearly 100 guests, faculty and staff enjoyed a three-day event in beautiful Sunriver, learning more about Oregon State University's impact in Central Oregon.

Highlights included a lively discussion with a panel of alumni business leaders moderated by OSU-Cascades marketing professor David Knuff, and evening dinners which featured remarks by OSU President Ed Ray, OSU Cascades CEO Diana Sloane, and OSU forestry expert Stephen Fitzgerald and land use specialist Hannah Gosnell. Guests were also treated to several special tours including hikes in the Newberry Caldera and the Lava Lands guided by OSU faculty including fisheries and wildlife professor Dan Edge and geosciences professor Anita Grunder.
