The OSU-Cascades Campus provides high-quality, affordable higher education in the heart of the state. Like the Bend region itself, the campus is fast growing, responsive, and innovative. Today, it offers more than 20 accredited academic programs in disciplines locally identified as regional priorities.

Investments secured through the campaign will enable OSU-Cascades to build on its momentum and expand to make major contributions to the region's economic, cultural, and social vitality.

 

 

Campaign Goals

People	Endowed chairs and professorships to strengthen programs and create centers of scholarly excellence that will benefit all of Central Oregon Scholarships and fellowships to ensure that all qualified students can attend OSU-Cascades regardless of their circumstances
Programs	Program start-up funds particularly to support new signature programs in Health Sciences and Natural Resources/Sustainability Funds to expand existing course sequences, such as Tourism and Outdoor Leadership, where student demand is outpacing the availability of faculty and resources

Highlights

Through the partnership of OSU, the University of Oregon, and Central Oregon Community College, OSU-Cascades reduces the average cost of a four-year degree by 30 percent.


OSU-Cascades has grown rapidly, doubling student enrollment and faculty from the time it began in 2001.


Students find a personal approach at OSU-Cascades with small class sizes, one-on-one mentoring by world-class faculty, and creative course delivery methods.
