OSU has one of the largest undergraduate engineering programs in the country.
Engineering faculty and students pioneered the world's first transparent integrated circuit, a biodiesel microreactor, and a passively-safe nuclear reactor.
Engineering faculty out-produce their peers nationwide and rank 16 out of nearly 400 engineering programs in overall productivity.
Fourteen young professors won prestigious, highly-competitive Career Awards from the National Science Foundation between 1997 and 2007.
