The Parent's Fund at Oregon State University is a network of dedicated parents who realize the importance of staying connected with and engaged in the experience of their students. As parents, you want your child to have the best possible experience at OSU, and you know that this isn't limited to the excellent education that students receive in the classroom.

OSU offers opportunities for students to participate in student organizations and extra-curricular activities outside of the classroom.

The Parent's Fund provides support for academics and other campus activities to help students make the most of their time at OSU. Parents can direct their gift to any area including:

OSU Libraries:

Gifts to the library are used to buy books, subscribe to print and online journals, provide wireless internet access to our patrons, and maintain research websites.

 

Student Programs:

Gifts are directed to various student programs across campus including but not limited to academic affairs, student affairs, University Honors College, International Programs and OSU Extended Campus.

 

OSU's Greatest Priority

Gifts to OSU's Greatest Priority have the most flexibility in providing critical resources. Each year, President Ray assigns resources to achieve priorities, to achieve important initiatives and maintain goals of excellence in the following areas:

• Facilitating student career-development and professional-development programs
• Encouraging innovations in teaching and learning across disciplinary boundaries
• Providing seed funding for graduate and professional programs that focus on emerging trends and disciplines
• Assisting OSU's libraries in seeking out and securing the best possible acquisitions and resources
• Enabling key information-technology enhancements and innovations
